SMACK that

Service Makes All Communities Kinder. The motivation behind the community service aspect of the IB middle-years program.

I love that the system emphasises this aspect of education. I love that they chose the acronym SMACK.

Motivation

Why blogging? Why not? Now I have made friends that come from all over the world it proves hard to influence them all in one place at the same time so I decided to put a little bit of me on the internet (in a more personal way than facebook) so they could all still gain access. I am just so generous like that!

Since living in an international environment, being British has become such a part of my identity (clinging desperately to cream teas and binge drinking) that I felt 'Baby Got Brit' would be a good title. It is taken from some fabulous lyrics that a dear Chilean friend of mine wrote for me, which will no doubt wend their way here in due course.

So welcome, enjoy and thanks for coming. If ours paths ever do cross in actual space then we should go for that aforementioned tea/pint!
